The doctors at Baxamed have over 20 years experience in chelation therapy and cell therapy as well as in hair mineral analysis. They introduced Anti Aging treatments in 1992 with HGH, DHEA and other hormones in private practice to patients and colleagues. They also introduced Plaquex treatments in 1995.


Setting up a new antiaging clinic ? you need to know and do the following:
Antiaging medicine consists of different aspects and evaluations: 1. Evaluation of any diseases present in the patient. Have the patient fill out a medical questionnaire (see sample) 2. Evaluation of the patients eating, smoking, drinking and exercise habits 3. Thorough blood testing including general chemistry, blood cell count, hormones, homocystein, CRP, HbA1C, PSA19 in men, fibrinogen. The hormones include the following: IGF1, DHEA-S, Free T3 and T4, TSH, free Estradiol, Estriol, Estrone, Progesterone, free Testosterone, Cortisol 4. Hair Mineral Analysis to determine minerals and heavy metals 5. Any additional tests depending on the patient's illnesses, for example Fast CT if there is evidence of angina pectoris, Carotid ultrasound to check for plaque, and so on. 6. Based on the above tests, a treatment protocol can be established. Treatment can consist of hormone replacement, cell therapy, Plaquex, Chelation, nutritional supplements and cosmetic interventions (eg. wrinkle fillers, Botox). Before you can begin, you need to find out, what products are available in your country, for example hormone creams like Testosterone, Estradiol, Estriol, Progesterone. You need to find out about injectable Human Growth Hormone and the prices. If any items are not available in your country, you need to find out if you can import them legally, yourself or through an international pharmacy. Most likely you can get HGH, Thyroid and the sex hormones in your country. The other products you will have to import, like cell therapy, DHEA, melatonin, EDTA for chelation and Plaquex. You also need to find a laboratory that can do all the required blood tests. Once you have all the legal information and sources of products, you can start testing patients. When the results are in, you can email them to us and we will help you establish a treatment protocol. We can do this with every patient if you wish until you are comfortable enough to do it yourself. Learning this by doing it with patients is the best way to learn and get comfortable. There may be an antiaging congress sometime near you that you can attend and then get some theoretical knowledge. Check the A4M website at www.worldhealth.net for upcoming conferences. Our fee for this is US$ 150.-- to establish a treatment protocol per patient and explain the procedures to you. The sources for products we give you for free.
